Bring Your Blanket and Enjoy the Calabasas Autumn Pops Concert on the Lake

After an extremely successful Spring Pops Concert in May, the City of Calabasas is pleased to announce that there will be a free Autumn Pops Concert on the Lake featuring “The Legends of Sing” with vocalist Cassie Miller. The concert will be held on Sunday, September 23, 2007 at 5:30PM at the Calabasas Lake.
Legends of Swing is one of the premier Big Bands in the United States. Led by trombonist Gary Tole, Legends of Swing salutes the great artists of the jazz era. The band offers tributes to Benny Goodman, Jimmy and Tommy Dorsey, Glen Miller, Harry James, Stan Kenton, Wooday Herman, Count Basie, and many others.
Be sure to bring your lawn chairs, blankets, and sweaters. Picnic dinners will be available for sale on-site. The Autumn Pops Concert on the Lake is free and open to the public. Free parking is available at the Calabasas Tennis & Swim Center. For more information about the concert, please call (818) 878-4225, ext. 302.
